AI search

Optimize for AI Overviews and citations.

AI search optimization is writing pages AI Overviews and chat tools can quote: one claim per passage, question headings, and the same mid-tail keyword the classic result already targets.

Write passages models can quote.

Citation is a writing problem.

These systems assemble an answer from pages they can trust enough to repeat. A page that hides the point in a slogan, or spreads one fact across five vague sections, gives them nothing to lift. A page that says what the business does, where, for whom, and with what limit, can be quoted.

We do not sell a separate “AI SEO” product that ignores Google. The queries still come from research. The page is still built the way the SEO page describes: one URL, one job, words in the HTML. What changes is the edit. Each important claim gets a sentence that can stand alone. The business is named. The date of a fact is named when the fact will go stale. Questions customers actually ask become headings, because that is how people ask a model.

We will not promise that a given chat product will mention you. Those products change, and they do not publish a ranking you can buy. We will make the page the kind of source they prefer to cite, and we will check, on the queries that matter, whether you are being named.

  • Passages that state one claim in one or two sentences
  • Headings that match real questions, not internal slogans
  • The business named on the page, with the offer and the limit of the offer
  • The same URL earning classic search, so the citation has a page that already ranks
  • A periodic check of AI answers for the queries on the list

A short tutorial: write one citable passage.

Pick the query you most want associated with the business. Write the passage before you touch the rest of the page.

  1. Ask the question the way a person would ask a chat.

“Who does this job in this place,” or “what does this service include.” Write that question as the heading.

  2. Answer it in two sentences.

Name the business, the offer, and the boundary. Leave the adjectives out. A model can quote a boundary. It cannot quote “quality solutions.”

  3. Put that passage in the HTML, high on the page.

If the answer only exists inside an image or a script, it is invisible to the systems you hope will cite it.

  4. Ask the question yourself in two products.

See who gets named. If it is a thinner page than yours, you have a writing gap. If it is a dominant publisher, the query may belong in a guide, which is a different URL. Bring that note back to research.

Questions on AI search

Is this different from SEO?

It is the same page, edited so a system can lift a sentence without guessing. Classic rankings and citations support each other. We do not run them as rival projects.

Can you optimize for one chatbot?

We write for the way these systems cite: clear claims, named entities, a page that already deserves to be a source. We do not chase a single product’s undocumented trick.

How do you report it?

On the queries we agreed to watch: whether an AI answer appears, whether you are named, and which page of yours it used. Then one edit if the passage is the problem.
